Cryotherapy & Cryo Skin Treatments

Whole Body Cryotherapy

Whole body cryotherapy is a quick 3 minute or less treatment that focuses on decreasing inflammation in the entire body. This process forces your body to burn calories to keep itself warm and push blood to the surface of your skin. It flushes the toxins out of your blood and helps with joint pain. After just a few short minutes of exposure to the extreme cold, you will notice an immediate boost in energy, relief of pain, and many other positive benefits.

  • Muscle & Joint Repair
  • Immunity Boost & Stress Relief
  • Anti-Aging & Skin Rejuvenation
  • Reduction of skin blemishes & cellulite
  • Metabolic Boost & Improved Sleeping
  • Increased Energy
  • Total body anti-inflammation

SERENITY Cryotherapy specialists are certified and dedicated to all of our guests. We provide all of our clients with socks, slippers, and gloves for each session. One of our specialists will walk you through the whole process to ensure an amazing experience. For most guests we recommend multiple sessions per week to start. This will get your body accustomed to the process and start making the effects more permanent and easier to maintain.

Cryo Skin Treatments for Weight Loss & Body Sculpting

Destroy fat and lose inches, all in 30 – 40 minutes. During a CryoSlimming™ session the skin is warmed then rapidly cooled. Results are immediate but we recommend 3 – 6 sessions for the best results.

CryoToning
Say goodbye to cellulite. Cold temperatures widen the blood vessels, increasing oxygen supply. This boosts collagen production, which breaks down cellulite, leaving you with smooth, dimple free skin.

Massage Therapy

Massage Therapy is the perfect companion to cryotherapy. Due to the increased blood flow delivering both the oxygen and endorphins that are released the first six to 10 minutes following cryotherapy exposure, your muscles have better perfusion and flexibility, which allows them to tolerate a massage. The combination of cryotherapy and massage yields quicker and longer-lasting results.

If you are sore from a massage, whole-body cryotherapy can aid in alleviating that soreness. Cryotherapy triggers a natural anti-inflammatory response. With benefits both prior to and after massage, it is possible to see longer-lasting effects sooner.

NormaTec Recovery System

NormaTec is the leader in rapid recovery— the system gives a competitive edge to the world’s elite athletes, coaches, and trainers. The goal is to establish recovery as an integral part of every athlete’s training. The NormaTec PULSE Recovery Systems are dynamic compression devices designed so athletes recover faster between trainings and after performance.

The system uses compressed air to massage your limbs, mobilize fluid, and speed recovery. When you use NormaTec, you will first experience a pre-inflate cycle, during which the connected attachments are molded to your exact body shape. The session will then begin by compressing your feet, hands, or upper quad (depending on which attachment you are using). Similar to the kneading and stroking done during a massage, each segment of the attachment will first compress in a pulsing manner and then release. This will repeat for each segment of the attachment as the compression pattern works its way up your limb.

Spot Cryotherapy

Unlike whole body cryotherapy, localized cryotherapy utilizes small, handheld devices that apply the nitrogen gas to target specific areas such as neck, elbow, knee, lower back, etc. Our guests frequently combine this treatment with Whole Body Cryotherapy. Temperatures as low as -130°C can be reached and each treatment should be conducted for about 5-10 minutes.

The treatment leaves the client with benefits that far exceed what traditional icing can provide. Whether you are looking to improve physical performance, reduce wrinkles or scarring, or relieve pain or inflammation, local cryotherapy is available to provide you with results!

Infrared Sauna

Detoxification

Sweating is one of the body’s most natural ways to eliminate toxins, making it a crucial part of detoxification. When compared to traditional Swedish saunas, infrared saunas allow you to eliminate about seven times more toxins.

Relaxation

Infrared sauna therapy promotes relaxation by helping to balance your body’s level of cortisol, your body’s primary stress hormone. The heat generated by the sauna will also help to relax muscles and relieve tension throughout the body, allowing you to relax and de-stress.

Pain Relief

If you suffer from muscle aches or joint pain, infrared saunas can relieve this form of inflammation by increasing circulation and relaxing your muscles.

Weight Loss

The heat generated by an infrared sauna will cause your core temperature to increase, which can also lead to an increased heart rate — the same increase in heart rate that you experience when exercising. When your body has to work harder to lower your core temperature or keep up with an increased heart rate, your body will burn more calories, resulting in weight loss. An article, titled Effect of Sweating, in the Journal of the American Medical Association concluded that a 30-minute infrared sauna session could burn roughly 600 calories.

Improved Circulation

As the heat from infrared saunas increases your core body temperature, your circulation will increase along with it. Consistent infrared sauna sessions, especially in the middle-infrared level, can stimulate blood flow, improve muscle recovery, and decrease pain and inflammation after intense exercise.
